SLOW FASHION - A GROWING MARKT
From the Niche to the Mainstream
The sustainable movement did not stop for the Fashion either. More and more customers prefer quality rather than quantity and also demand more transparency. Fashion labels that renounce to harmful manufacturing processes and rather produce in a fair and sustainable way are gaining in popularity. Even reputed international fashion schools are establishing new courses and graduation programs focused on sustainability and fairness. According to surveys, almost half of all German consumers want more sustainability in the textile and fashion industry. Slow fashion is hence not a trend, but a fundamental rethinking.
